Jury Duty! Greetings WVC Family, I
pray that the Lord is working in your life moment by moment this week. Our service this past Sunday
was filled with the Presence of God!! What a great time it was to get together and dig into God's Word.
We looked at Matthew chapter 7 and our Lord's teaching on judging as opposed to being judgmental. THERE
IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE. We, as the family of God, must discern the needs of our brothers
and sisters. We, as the family of God, must then reach out in love and lend a hand to those who are
hurting, or fallen. We must beware of death by "friendly fire". Our memory verse
is Galatians 6:1, "Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you
who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest
you too be tempted." Wow!!!! Just imagine with me for a moment how much light our
church would shine if we took this principle and made it an integral part of our hearts.
This week, prepare for a deeper relationship with God as we look at how to become "Abaka" -
